Default Technical or bolt on?

Im about to start buying parts for my build, but im wondering if i should start with bolt on Hp gains like exhaust and header, or cold air intake; or if i should go to things like throttle body and injectors and coils.

Whats your play on it? How did you start? If I buy x, what should be y,z, etc???

Thanks!

I would do (in order) intake, exhaust, SOS big bore throttle body and a tune (will require some form of engine management- piggyback, standalone ecu, flashpro if you are 06+, ect. Those two (throttle body and tune) should be done at the same time.) then finish with a header and maybe some okada plasma packs -if you can justify the price for the minimal gain with n/a setups.

i think you should do more research before you start throwing parts at it...i think youre going to be very dissappointed when you end up dumping thousands of dollars on mods and you only end up with maybe a 15hp gain...just my two cents though

Agreed. Don't spend money on bolt-ons until you figure out your long term goal. Will save money in the long run instead of buying I/h/e and then deciding to go turbo for example
