i just picked up a set

will these work with my carbon fiber hood?

i ask because the hood will not close like it used too, its raised about 1/5 inch on both sides of the hood by the fenders and all the adjustable tabs are as low as can go and you can see the dampners when the hood is closed


any input ?

no, only nrg makes half power ones. I had a set of science of speed and I sold them when i got a carbon hood. I miss them...

Password JDM makes both polished and black (purgeable for CF hood). I've had mine for 2 and a half years with no mechanical problems. Although they have rusted very very little (in very small areas). I'd get the PWJDM over NRG, only speaking from experience.
