Default Tein Mono-Flex VS KW V3

Hi guys, I am looking for coilovers but I can't decide which to buy. My choice is between Tein Mono-Flex or KW V3...since they are almost the same price.

I daily drive the car and 3-4 times track a year. So what you guys suggest? Thanks!

Tein coilover suspension kit is stiff enough for daily use..
I decided to buy KWv3 a couple months ago and I think, comparing to other s2ks I've driven before, it's the best for road use..

In Europe they supply them with 8kg springs.. I don't know if it's the same there, but if you have the option,I think it would be better for you, to combine them with 10kg springs because of your road quality..

Whatever you finally choose, keep in your mind that it will take you long enough to find the best settings for you.. If you are not willing to spend some time, I would suggest you choose the OEM suspension kit..It's really very good...

I've driven both on the street and to me the KW's did feel better. It was the factory setup with one added click of conpression in the rear.

The mono flex's aren't nearly as good and I had to compromise my desired compression setting to get the rebound I was looking for. One knob for both compression and rebound and in my oppinion are over damped on rebound in relation to compression.

As far as track use it's really hard to say because if I remembered correctly the flex's have a higher spring rate. I think someone is working on something for KW, so maybe try and look into that.

Hope this helps

It's would be easier for you to compare, if you ask for a ride. Then compare both of them how it feels towards you and your driving styles.

I say tein mono flex. It's a fully adjustable body length coilover , and you can slam your car without changing the spring rate. Even though kw's ride might be a little softer. I would be worried about riding on bump stops with the kw. If the kw's body length was adjustable, i would get the kw. I have tein flex's, not the mono flex. Ride is a little stiff but was way cheaper. i can still go a little softer on the dampening.
