Tein hold up pretty good, I had them on my old civic..
Some people notice a decrease in performance is because their oem shocks are dead. And honestly I think very likely you will upgrade to coilover in the future..

tein s tech ride quality is good. as far as performance goes, i dont like them at all. the only reason why i got them is because my car is a DD. tein flex was too rough for daily driving.
