terrible understeer

Default terrible understeer

whats up guys so I recently upgraded my tires to 225 fronts 255 rears falken Azena's and also installed a muz front strut Xbrace. I'm experiencing noticable understeer on medium to sharp turns. any Ideas whats casuing it? im assuming is the x strut. I have an 06 btw help plz!

there's no strut on the car nor the X brace will change much about your recent suspension feel.

it's an add on bar for reduce chassis flex, it will not give you anything you describe.

it's most likely your tire set up, what did you have before this? condition?

and take it easy with the new tire, the mold release take a few drive to wear off

well the tires have been mounted for about 1000 miles or more so i figuerd the brake in time has accured already and previously i was running General UHP 215's . Im so sad I thought falkens were higher quality and 10mm thicker will xfer to better handeling

A buddy of mine had 215/255 Azenis and they understeered as well. The X-brace shouldn't affect over/understeering, I have one myself.

What tire pressures? if the fronts are low they will be more likely to understeer.

tire pressure is at 32 all around

Change your alignment to make it better, it is not your X-Brace.

Or decrease rear tire width to 245s.

Staggered set ups like that will decrease grip up front and increase rear grip (hence neutralising oversteer/giving more understeer) which has been the quick "fix" for an S2000's feisty rear end.

I'm running 225/255 with UK alignment specs. Handles well for me..
