RT-615 are junk. Much better tires out there.
they might be getting old now but they are far far away from junk.

they are very cheap for that amount of grip, of course you don't get the whole package like you would with the bridgestone re01 or re11 but the 615 is a good chuck off the retail price.

hey, to be honest rt615 is better than half of the junk s2k running out there, last time i went to a meet there's kids running 3k custom powdercoated volks with falken 512 and all season kumho asx

for those who been to track with 615, they offer great grip for the price, they tense to get grease when hot

Funny how much hate comes out with this tire. For light cars this is the bargain track day winner. It is typically $40 usd cheaper in a given size, yes over the NT5.

I don't have the greasiness issue, but I have heard it enough times I believe it. (Bridgestone 71R TU were greasy.) I find it very predictable. My only complaint is really the noise at the limit, with full tread it does squeal. It is not a real race tire, or even a shaved star spec hot R-tire. But for the money it spanks most of the crap I see out there. (Like the ASX.)

It also depends on how you enter and negotiate the turn. Depending on how I enter/throttle I can both understeer and oversteer.
