Default Test pipe 4 AP2?

Im sure this subject came up allready. What would be the best test pipe for an 06' ? I can get a Invidia 70mm test pipe for $65. Should I buy it? Did I mention, I dont want my check engine light to go on.

i have the 63mm T1R && it was the most noticable increase in power ive felt, more then my catback exhaust and intake combined!

Thumbs up

i "think" anything close to 70mm on a S2k should be for forced induction only, due to loss of "efficiency" in the low-to-mid rpm range. I "suppose" because of a decrease in back-pressure.

The only upgrades I currently have is a 2.2 Mugen header I installed 3weeks ago. Like to keep the stock exhaust for now. Then maybee a J's single full ti exhaust system.

sounds good, single is the way to go, except for the loudness..lol..the test pipe makes one of the biggest diffrences. Our stock cats are super restrictive! I have a T1R 63mm TP on mine, I love it.

from my experiance, 70mm gives you gains in the upper RPM's & you loose power in the lower rpms. opposed to smaller piping which give's you gains in the low-to-mid, and do not loose power in the higher RPM's.

It really depends on where you want/need the power.
