can any one give me the PROS and CONS on them before i go out and buy it.

1. how much gain do you get from it?
2. can i still use my stock exhaust?

I am going to answer you question before you get flamed by other members telling you to use the search function. From my personal experence the stock cat is not restricting at all, way back in the day removing the cat ment added horsepower that isn't the case now a days. But some members still swear by it and would recommend it for you. A con would be here in California, one would get a 10k fine along with getting there car impounded. You will also get a CEL light on your car, along with a rich scent from your exhaust. Also you will have some black stuff on your bumper after a while. Oh and you can use it on a stock exhaust, the size of the stock exhaust piping is 60mm. So get one that matches that, I wouldn't recommend one but it is your car, and if your state laws are not as strict then go for it. Oh and you will not feel a noticeable difference, just in sound.

you wont get anything BLACK on your bumper...you MIGHT get a LITTLE bit of YELLOW on the corners it comes off very easily with windex if you wax that part of the car once every month or so it stops the color from appearing or what little color there was to begin with anyways.
There is 5whp to be gained
Sounds tiny bit louder and more 350z like in the 3-5k rpm
If you use stock exhaust get BERK test pipe its 63mm so it flows well with stock and it has anti fouler so there is NOT A CEL. if you have a Ap2 you MIGHT get a CEL but the chances are slim if you do just go to autostore and get an extended anti fouler.
so much misimformation here sometimes.....

Thanks Suzuka is a rare color , oh and there is no accurate number of how much hp a test pipe gives you as it doesn't give you anything; the dyno charts I have seen include various other mods. If you want power get a single exhaust , it is a lot lights than the 55lb stock exhaust and it gives you power!

it really just depends on who you ask. if you go through most of the peoples mod list there is a test pipe on it. i have on on my ap1 and love it. it does add a little more sound to the exhaust which was a plus to me. i think stock is way too quiet. i have 0 discoloration or black stuff on my bumper. i have used clay bar to check since i have a BB and i dont get anything. as for power. 5hp is about right. i have seen dyno sheets posted before with no mods other than exhaust, single or dual, no header that have gained 3-5hp. as for which TP. i bought FIRST. it was only like $80 i think and i used the spark plug anti-fouler trick to get rid of my CEL. they are only 5 bucks at the autoparts store and come in 2's. mine has been on for about 9k miles with no CEL. i was going to buy the BERK till i found this one cheaper. its good quality and fits perfect. if you think about it its just a tube with 2 stock like flanges on the end. not too complicated so you cant really mess one up
