Almost every testpipe is the same. It's just a straight pipe anyways so just get a testpipe that has the same piping as the rest of your exhaust. Some of them have tabs to bolt on the stock cat headshield though, that might come handy.

 

Unless you're F/I you will most likely see only a 1 or 2hp gain from a testpipe as compared to a HFC. I personally had a testpipe, but switched it out with Asura's 70mm HFC. It may not sound as agressive at WOT, but at least it doesn't smell. Don't want to give cops another reason to pull me over. =)

 

A cop was checking out my car and asked me to start up the car, he asked whether the exhaust was a catback or not and I told him ya. He didn't notice the smell.

 

how long dose that smell last for? haha and yeah i been hearing about it smells why is that.?

 

always will smell. there is no cat to clean the exhaust.

 

the smell is usually pretty light. i only smell it when the wind is in the right direction, or if i go behind the car on a still day.

i wouldnt worry about any of these questions you have on these TP. if you want one get one. the FIRST one that i have is $62 shipped. here is a link to it here on s2ki FIRST TP the antifoulers are about 4 bucks. thats not that much and if you decide you dont like it you can turn around and probably sell it on here for about the same price.
