I heard the O2 sensor is just there to 'see little air movement' and when theres high air movement, it thinks somethings wrong with the cat, so thats why when you get a TP w/ CEL fix, it just pulls the o2 sensor out of the airflow, so it doesnt see much air movement and all is well?

Anyways when I pulled mine to install my wideband, my o2 sensor was completely clogged up from having it in the test pipe for about 30k miles... I didnt clean it off I figure the more clogged it is, the less likely it is to throw a code!

Yes I know what a test pipe is and I know what the CEL fix is. I should have re-phrased the question. "Does their cel fix work?"

an o2 sensor does not measure airflow. it measures the O2 content of the gas in front of it. velocity or movement have nothing to do with it. it's just like the other O2 sensor, all that happens is that the readings from the second are compared to the first, and if the difference is not great enough, then it throws a cel.

I would recommend the J's racing 63mm test pipe which allows you to retain the factory cat heatshield for stealth oem look

It depends on the car, for some reason the o2 sensor on 06' and up is more sensitive. I have the Invidia w/cel fix and 2 foulers on my 06' and never had a problem.

Switched from a Berk 70mm HFC to a Berk 70mm TP last week. I have an 06 and haven't thrown a code with either.

When i had the stock ECU and the Invidia 70mm test pipe (HS00HS1TP3), i bought this CEL Fix (see here) from Blox Racing just for $6.

Never had any problems with the engine light
