Default Test Pipe Recommendations

I am looking at the INV-HS00HS1TP2 Invidia that also claims CEL fix.

Anyone had experience with this product? Is there another one you would recommend ?

Ive got the Berk 63mm TP with CEL fix, been running it for about 30k miles and never seen a CEL. I think they make a 70mm now, but dont quote me on it. Ive also heard good things about the invidia test pipes, im sure it will work fine as theres not much to it really.

a test pipe is nothing more than a straight metal pipe so as long as it has a bung for cel fix you should be fine and also make sure you get one that matches the diameter of the exhaust opening.

I have a '03 and bought an invidia with a cel fix and haven't had a single problem with it.

but s2cho is right, it's just a metal pipe

just so you are aware.... the "CEL fix" is nothing more than a pipe that pulls the o2 sensor away from the test pipe so it see's less of the exhaust and therefore tricking the o2 sensor. You dont need to pay a ton extra for this "CEL fix" as you can do the same thing with two spark plug defoulers... drill out the top one that will be closest to the diode of the sesnor and then "bam" you have you "CEL fix" for nothing more than 5 bucks, a trip to your local auto parts store, and 10 min of your time!

I've got the 70mm TP from Invidia. Mine has a CEL fix but they didn't ship it with the TP as they were out. It is supposed to be shipped when they have a supply (extender/angler that attaches to the bung). I have the CEL, but I just make sure to check it every few days to make sure it's just the secondary o2 sensor.

Why waste time cutting into a test pipe and hacking it up, when you can buy one already made for it..

Test pipes aren't that expensive to warrant that IMO..
