Default Thinking to add a resonator to my Greddy SE

Thinking to add a resonator to my Greddy SE Dual because its abit loud for me, I want to lower the volume and to take away the drone.

what do you guys think? or should I go back to stock? I just want the performance gain... I am currently waiting for the test pipe see if that helps anything...

Test pipe should help alittle. I would be interested in this as well, but where on the pipe would another resonator fit? Its pretty tight underneath the car as it is.

You really arent gaining much "POWER GAIN" from the exhaust...If your going to chop up a perfectly Great exhaust to be quieter, i would go back to stock. The SE has little to no drone.....

I've owned both the SE Dual and Single, both of which droned on the highway very annoyingly at times (even my ASM 70mm drones.) If adding an extra resonator removed that drone, the exhaust would provide a great aggressive sound that the stock exhaust cannot.

Adding a test pipe WILL make it louder.
There is NO drone with the test pipe.
I started with just the exhaust than added test pipe and finally a header. Now the sound is deeper and powerful. I REALLY like the sound.
I don’t know what drone with the test people are talking about...

this is odd, from all the reviews I have read people have said that there is zero drone while cruising at any mph?

I have a hks 75mm single which is another "no drone" exhaust. Drone bugged me too and I added a test pipe, helped a bit but didnt get rid of all the drone. Maybe I just have very sensitive hearing but I still hear drone at 55-60mph in 6th. Asura and T1r both make resonated test pipes and I know asura makes a resonated hfc. Maybe one of those would solve the problem of where to put a resonator too. I say try a test pipe or resonated tp. If that doesnt do it for you then go back to stock. GL

Add test pipe, if you still don't like the drone, take it off and put the stock exhaust back on.

Can't believe how quiet this exhaust is for a 70mm and with a test pipe. Much much quieter than my old gutted HKS dual exhaust. There is still a little drone low rpm high throttle like up hills on the highway. I don't notice it at all with the top down but with it up you can hear a little drone. I have a test pipe. Never used a cat with this exhaust.
