I'm having 4.44's installed this week and i'm wondering who uses which gears and what you use them for. Like who uses them for auto x, track, drag, or whatever and what gear is used. Also, how much of a difference should I expect?

I had a thread i made about how i felt after my 4.77's were installed and its at roughly 5 pages now, search under my name and read up on it.

So with 4.77's, i really noticed no diff well certainly not as big as everyone tries to make it out to be.

 

 

you may have not felt a difference but it has been proven that gears will improve your 1/4 mile time.......i picked up .5 tenths ( 13.9 to 13.37 )

You will be happy with them, 4.44's arent crazy but you will see some benifit from them

 

thanks for some feedback, I read the gears thread and didn't find much info being that its still new. i don't track or auto x but take it down the track every so often. I just want an idea of who uses which gears for what.

 

I have 4.57's. I use them to beat up on everything
