man im sorry to say it but with a custom tune and a lower vtec, you could get the same gains. i gained 20 ft*lbs and 21 whp with a generic tune reflash.

 

This header has been out for a while now. At least a few years. ASM has a second version just like this one.

 

the gains are over such a small rpm range it wouldn't be very noticeable unless you drove at 4800-5300 rpms for long periods of time. I'd take it over the base header but I wouldn't buy the header just for the gains advertised, particularly since it's run with aftermarket cams and ITB's. It means nothing as it's not shown on a stock S2K.

 

Well I'm going to need a header sooner or later after I get flashpro. Just considering some options.

 

Old header is old. Great header is still great. That said, you staying N/A or going to S/C?

 

I haven't decided yet. I feel like brett farve. I just ordered a 70mm hfc and I'm going to pickup flashpro next month. If I stay NA I'll pick up a hytech later on, if I go sc I'll find another header option. For right now I was just looking at some different header options and if I see a deal I like I might get one.
