Default Top Fuel carbon intake?

Hey guys, I'm in the market for an intake, and was wondering if anyone has heard much about the gains (if any) and sound of the Top Fuel carbon intake?

This intake here (sorry Spugen_s2000 for jacking your pic, but hey I might be buying your intake):

P.s I did a search, gave up after the fifth page of unrelated threads that came up.

I dont see why the gains would be any better then a k&n or injen short ram. Looks like they slapped some carbon on to charge more money.

I agree, I dont think it would perform any better than the run of the mill intake.

it's just a short ram intake with a carbon fiber cylinder attached to it... i don't see why it would be any different. Might change the pitch of the intake a bit than normal ram airs though.

i searched and I have this dilemma too...I'm going to buy this intake but I need to know what to mod on it to make it work for AP1's. Some say you have to drill a hole some say you dont...can anyone clarify?

You'll get a nice roar at WOT but not much HP gain. I like the PRM, which pulls air from the opening just to the right of the radiator. It's probably not as effective as a full on CAI but the install was easy, it's light and I wasn't looking to big gains anyway.
