KN would be a better choice if you live in rainy area, not to mention the ugly plastic isolate heat much much much better than extruded aluminum

not sure about the law in your state, but fujita is not smog legal and i think it's over priced.

aem and kn is smog legal as far as i know

another vote for the K&N, nice deep sound, easy install no hydrolock or bumper cutting worries.

also if your like 75% of us on the board youll get bored with the power and do something stupid like go forced induction or get ITB's or something, K&N is super easy to install and remove.

If your looking for bling look into the HKS racing induction kit, pretty rare and really expensive, comptech is another option, not nearly as loud. you can always go mugen or J's, best of both worlds and extra expensive. both i believe require cutting of stock hood or replacing all together.

Go with the FIPK, I did, one guy dyno'd it at ~4.5 hp. It is cost effective, sounds good and no problems in the rain. Some of the CAI lose HP under 3-4K.

Dude, can you list the things you did to that engine bay? As other have mentioned, that is pure sex As a fellow Laguna owner, THAT is what I want mine to look like...

I have no experience with the Fujita.

The way I see it, everyone out there other than AEM just makes a pipe and puts a cone filter on the end of it and call it a day. AEM actually put some effort into the way air is sent into the intake and they showed it makes more power than their first gen intake. They have a diagram somewhere. What I'm getting to is anything with a little thought put into it is at least 1hp better than just a pipe.
Your wrong. Have you ever seen K&N's research and development bay at their facility? They have 2 motorcycle dyno's, a 4 wheel dyno inside and a 4 wheel dyno outside, not to mention a couple of lifts as well. I know for a fact that if they dont make power with a FIPK then they wont make an FIPK for that said vehicle. So like 99% of the people here FIPK gets my vote.

Take some of that rain protector hat spray and spray it on your air filter, water problem solved, unless you drive into a pond, then ur fubared anyways.

I used to mist mine on my celica with WD.
