I know there are hitch kits available for s2000's. There is even a YouTube of an installation. Has anyone done it? Know of anyone in the SF Bay Area that would do the install?

My impression is that the kits are for carrying bike racks, tho I saw an old post where a guy has one to tow a small trailer. I want to tow a small fiberglass sailboat.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

 

Lots of people use chase race trailer. Install should be easy enough for a person or two to do it.
I'm not sure how much does your sailboat weigh, but I wouldn't recommend anything heavier than a wheelset.

 

I saw a S with one of these hitches, very nice setup and when not in use you can't see it.
