Default Trailer hitch for the S

Anybody have one? Anyone trailer anything with their S??

I have a small, light 4x8 utility trailer and a 2004 Yamaha R1 (about 400 lbs) and would like to take it places.

Yes, there are a couple of options for putting a hitch on the S. Take a look in the Racing and Competition forum. People are typically using them to tow their track tire trailers.

I wanted one for a bicycle rack
20lb rack and 20 lb bike

I found that one type mounts throught some holes you drill
in the bottem of the trunk ... and the little holes are not big holes in one your of use

another guy want $500 for a kit he was making...
you have to tear apart the back half of the car
major work

That $500 kit you are talking about, I bet, is the one offered by Doug Chase at Chaserace.com

I had his hitch installed earlier this year to carry bikes. It works great, and it really is not a pain in the ass to install. Granted, he did the install, but I got to watch and take pics. It really could not be much easier to install, plus, if you go to his website he has step by step instructions for installation. The Suzuka S is mine .

The hitch is completely removable and no additional drilling is needed.

Just my .02

[QUOTE=hecash,Aug 15 2005, 01:11 PM] It could be the Hammerly Hitch, too.
