Default Tuning with AEM v2

Hello,
I have been very interested in doing NA mods (IM, TB, CAI/high celocity filter, header, HFC, maybe exhaust) for my s and it seemed that at some point, i just have to tune it with AEM EMS.

Three questions:

1. What is the impact of tuning on the overall reliability and life of the car/engine? I know that Honda made our cars extremely reliable out of the factory, and I feel that that is one of most appealing fact about this car. My instinct tells me that if i mess with that, it may put the engine under higher load and reliability may be jeopardized. I mean, some good mechanics out there, but hard to beat Hond's team of engineers. On the other hand, i also feel like we're optimizing the engine. Thoughts?

2. Is it something I can change here and there? Or every time I install a part or want to make some changes, i have to take it to a tuner with a dyno and just be really pricey?

3. If i want to go back to stock later to sell the car, how reversible is the tuning? Is it a matter of unplugging the AEM box? Or sophisticated programming required? Again, do i need a tuner to undo and go back to factory stock?

I came across a decent deal on a unit, so wanted to find out before buying. Thanks everyone!

1. Find an experienced tuner who is comfortable with tuning a s2000 and the AEM am software. With the right tune, the car will easily be just as reliable as stock and will last a very long time. It's all about the tune though.
2. Ideally you'd like to get a retune after any change in air to fule ratios that may be caused by changes in parts. Forced induction cars are more sensitive and require a close look at every change made. You could probably get away with small changes in a naturally aspirated tune. Just talk to your tuner about It. He should be able to make small changes to your tune at a fraction of the cost of a full tune session.
3. It's as easy as unplugging your AEM and plugging in your stock ecu

Where in SoCal are you? I'm in SoCal as well. There are plenty of reputable tuners out here
