King Motorsports performed this on a car then dyno'd, the uk mod didn't lose any power, instead a 1hp gain, which of course could be attributed to numerous dyno factors. Either way, it didn't lose power.

Too bad the pipes you made are crushed bent and not mandrel.

I'd like to hear it. Although being honest, you may lose power. Figure the exhaust is hitting the partition and getting slowed down pretty well.

If anything, you should have welded the bridge right at the bend, essentially making a straight shot to the outside pipe and bypassing the initial bend. My 2c.

Props for trying something new. However, there are a couple benefits of the UK mod that you will be eliminating. First, most of the sound and exhaust gases flow through the normal path, so the mufflers are still pretty effective for reducing drone and rasp. If performed well, it also allows the exhaust to perform as well as it did without the mod.

It appears that you will be diverting most or all of the sound and gases through your bypass. If so, then I suspect that you may wind up with excessive drone and rasp. The crush bent piping may also have some negative impact on performance.

One thing you might want to try, if it isn't too late is to only perform the bypass on 1 muffler. If that one muffler winds up providing all the sound you want, then stop there. Lexus did that with their IS350 f-sport system

No it's not. The way he cut it the flow of gas remains. You're looking at it backwards.

I was thinking the same. I'm going to just do the right side for now and see how it goes.
