Short story short, I just found the secret compartment after a week of ownership. Inside were a couple of OEM plastic caps. Being a nooblet, I have no idea what they do or where they go.

Behind your seats they screw into the panels that cover the lower part of the roll bar. #7 & #13.

 

It's appreciated. Can you think of any reason why someone would remove them long-term?

 

someone had the interior apart and forgot to either a) put them back in or b) forgot where they went

 

I don't think that either one in particular goes behind the seat. The one behind the seat has a hook that was meant to attach a net to for lite storage.
