I just started looking at options for a bolt-in roll bar and it seems the only two options are HardDog or RockStar (almost identical designs). Both of these seem to involve a little bit of customizing to the interior panels if you want to keep the interior looking finished and retain the OEM seat belts (w/ 6 point for track only)

I'm surprised noone has come up with a Double Hoop design that simply replaces the factory hoops, just beefier and a few inches taller. Here is what I had in mind below. I think this design would flow better with the design of the car and seats and could simply stick out of the existing cut outs on the plastic panels.

 

Harddog makes a double hoop for the Miata. It must just not be as strong.

 

if you like the double hoop loo, just stick with OEM

 

Its not nearly tall enough.
