Default Upgraded Engine Mounts

I have a 2001 with 136k on the clock. The engine mounts look fine in appearance and I can't physically move the engine. However, I am debating tossing on some Megan mounts to increase stiffness and responsiveness. The thought is that in addition to keeping the engine/tranny more stable for better throttle response/shifts, engine mounts in conjunction with tranny mounts would also increase lateral stiffness in the overall car. With that, for those who have upgraded, who currently had good OEM mounts, did you notice a positive difference?

not worth it if your OEM are good.... (but at 136K might be due to crap out soon)
i believe Megans are same as the Hardrace mounts i put in my first AP1,
they were ok but hood vibrated at the lights and i could definitely feel vibration coming in
(they did settle after few hundy kms but still vibrated somewhat).

I had ESMM mount inserts in my RSX and the benefits greatly outweighed the vibes. They calm down after a while too.

Have you tried riding in an S with upgraded mounts? If not, I'd try that first. I rode in one and i found the trade offs to be worth it. My car is already crazy loud though.
