Hi all,

Im about to purchase a VAFC2 with a mase map on that is setup for a buddylub racing spec manifold, 60mm exhaust and a cai.

My current setup is buddyclub manifold, berk decat and buddyclub dual prospec 3, but no CAI (yet)

Should the vafc run my car ok until i fit the cai? I have an AEM UEGO fitted but im unsure if its running right yet..

any help appreciatred

 

You should definitely NOT use a pretuned VAFC. Even if you had the exact same parts, you can't assume that your car will run exactly as rich as the car that was used for the original tune. Every car is different, and VAFC's only make power by trimming the MAP signal, which can be very dangerous.

 

Pay it, get it installed, and tuned to your car you'll be fine

 

I think ill reset it before i fit it then. mase is coming over to the Uk in december, so I have emailed him with my specs to see if it will be worthwhile
