If I didn't already have an OEM H/T with buyer remorse $3500 and paid additional $1000 for the proper factory hardware and catches not supplied I guess no buyers remorse anymore

I don't disagree at all $4000 - $4500 with OEM fitment is the sweet spot.

When looking at a used hardtop, are there any tell tale signs that it's a Vaikhari vs an OEM? This is assuming I don't have the car with me mount the hardtop to.

I may be travelling to a different city with a truck to pick up a hardtop.

Considering the Vaikhari just came out, there is a 99% chance it will be OEM.

Probably the interior pieces... their's looks non-oem, with a bunch of wrinkles or other marks from moulding or manufacturing. https://vaikhariusa.com/products/vai...pr_seq=uniform

Also, I don't think they have a roof-liner yet. Not sure. (edit: they do make a replica head liner too)

I'd also think that any plastic interior piece will have some sort of small Honda logo/stamp on the backside.

Just ask some S2ki members for pics of their oem HT interior panels so you can compare.

Also check some ebay listings' pics (uk seems to have plenty of HTs)... you'll see the HT interior panels are much nicer, smoother and consistent texture/color, etc. Basically like any other oem interior plastic panels from Honda like you'd find on any old Civic, Integra, Accord, etc.

mine fits pretty good. I might need to bend mine to straighten it out or getting it painted might stop the wind noise from the front. I somehow fixed it for a bit but than hit a bad spot on the road and it cause the top to have wind noise again. It’s a knockoff top so it’s never going to be like oem. I don’t even think it was design to be a replacement for oem just an option for people on a budget
