Arrow Vented Hood Covers?

I was thinking about getting a vented hood, but it rains alot, and due to intake and cleanliness issues i was kinda wary of it. but i thought about it, and saw rumors of them in existence, but i have no confirmed reports? anyone seen it, have a link, or have ideas?

They're out there for certain hoods. Check the big places, like Evasive, GTMotoring, Bulletproof, etc

Meh, I've got a Mugen style CF-Hood and has gone through fairly heavy rains with no issues, even when parked, starts up just fine, stock intake though for me.

^Stock intake is key there. With a K&N or similar intake the filter can be right underneath a vent and get rained on.

Some hoods from VISRacing or Seibon has rain vents that go underneath the vented hood that direct the rain a bit more

A vented hood hasn't really been a problem for me with an aftermarket intake. I have driven in the rain with my spoon hood and the K&N FIPK intake without problems, including an all day rain on a 700 mile drive to the Dragon. I do make sure and spray my filter with K&N's filter spray (moisture repellant).

DIY Vented OEM hood looks great and is supposedly pretty effective. Google/search for it on here, I really dig the way it looks.

I have rain guides for my seibon top secret hood. I won't ever use them tho since I don't drive it in the rain
