come on down to MD man i did mine with a jigsaw and sand paper haha took about 2 hrs to cut (taking my time and breaks to turn up music) and a few hrs worth of sanding including about an hour or so of messing around ....
make sure you have some kind of intake, other than a K&N FIPK, or stock, unless you have a snorkel. when i cut my hood, the stock intake opening was exposed by about an inch or so by the biggest hole. i bought an ebay snorkel and used weather stripping to seal it to the stock air box. with the snorkel, ive driven in extreme downpours and right after washing the car and have had no issues.

i go down to md like every weekend my bfriends live in white marsh right off of exit 31 off of 695 how far do you live from there? 220 is kinda a lot just for getting this done by the guy in york
yea def but when you diy there is always the risk of effing it up but then i guess you could put that truck door liner around it like some do if it gets messed up that was my backup haha im in crofton md from exit 31 thats a good 45 min i would guess could be like 2 hrs depending on traffic lol 695 sucks
