Default Vibrant Oval Tip Muffler

Hi Ladies & Gents,

This is just a heads up for those of you that want to do a custom exhaust, while keeping a some-what stock look. I am in the process of piecing together a custom dual cat-back exhaust, and came across an interesting universal muffler, made by Vibrant. It comes in either 2.5" or 3" inlet sizes, and has an oval tip (4.5" x 3"). This is almost identical to the OEM AP2 tips. I did a search, but couldn't find any AP2 S2K owners running this muffler. I think this is a great option if you like the stock look, but don't want to purchase another set of AP2 tips or remove the tips from your stock cans.

I think I'll be purchasing a couple of these to use in my custom setup!

P.S. this is my first post here on S2KI! Heyoooooooo!

I had a similar vibrant exhaust on my 07 civic Si sedan. Had a nice deep mellow tone but with some drone. good find!

I think I'm going to do a 3" cat-back, split into 2.5" each side. I will definitely put a huge resonator in there ( thinking about using the Vibrant Ultra Quiet, as I've read good things about them ). I'm even looking into using a round 5" Magnaflow muffler instead. Now I have to find a good shop in Toronto to do the work... Good exhaust guys are tough to find here!

Ive loking for setup for mine. I'm pretty set with magnaflow 3" (5x8x14) and vibrant 3" resonator.

I like to see how it fits on S2k.

bumping this!

I was thinking about doing the same thing but only single exit, I wonder how loud it would be be without a resonator? But My plan is to do the Ultra Quiet Vibrant Res + Vibrant Muffler 2.5''

Anyone get this done or have any reviews?
