My friend has this exhaust on his '09 civic si without the resonator and it has a nice sound to it, not too loud and not too much drone. I don't know how it would be for the s though

So.... Did you ever go through with this OP? I had this exhaust on my 8th gen civic and LOVED it. It had a deep tone with mild drone. Wanted an identical set up for my S now but since vibrant doesn't make this exhaust specific to S, I wanted to make a custom set up.
