its basically just to make sure its a fresh clean surface with no dirt or any other residue is on it.

I know prep work is important when wrapping your car, do you guys recommend waxing before applying the vinyl?
You'll def have troubles with the mirrors and bumpers but i suggest watching some youtube tutorials to get some tips before starting.

I would make sure you claybar the car and polish (if you have a buffer).

Oh, so it is something for vinyl wrap. When you said primer I thought you were talking about paint primer.

You might want to visit www.gatorwraps.com, you can request for a quote plus they have a lot of vinyl wraps with lots of colors to choose from. Professionals there will be able to address all your concerns.

If you have any little paint defect on your car now, the vinyl doesn't really hind it... it makes it worse. For example, I had some clear pealing on my pillar and when I wrapped over it you could see the outline of the clear ... I didn't notice until after, so if you do have anything like that on your car I would suggest fix it before you wrap.

It shouldn't show to bad if its thats small, but its depends on the thickness of the vinyl.
