Yeah I used the seals that came with the hardtop. I know what you mean about the sealing stuff not looking like it will work. It makes a crease when it curves down and makes a small hole for water to come in. The way I fixed this is cutting some extra seal form I had left in half and glueing on a piece on the part that had a crease .. worked perfectly and even looks like it should be there. Ill take some pics of what I did. I drove it in some very hard rain and it didn't leak at all :-)

I've got some sweet gaps on the side of the HT near the side brackets also, but that should get fixed with some more seals. Another thing, does the very back of the HT (near the bottom of the glass) attach to anything? I noticed there were bolts on the top there when it came and I just took em off and stuck the foam seal around the rim of the HT.

A DIY on this sucker would have been nice. Good to know the seals work though, I just can't stand that crease whenever I open the door.

Yeah I have some very some openings at the back of the hardtop but water cant get in there unless you were washing your car and shot it up in there. Haven't had a problem with it at all. You need someone to push down on the hardtop and tighten the bolts up better that is what I did and it worked well. Also playing around wth the brackets and bending them rght will make it fit better. Ill try to post some pics up on how I fixed the creases soon. I als noticed those bolts to. I just left them alone. I didn't know what they were for.

Did ya use the window seal that came with the top or did you opt for a bigger one?
