Default VIS Mugen hardtop install

I finally found the time to get this top painted and installed on the car. The shop didnt paint the sides exactly how I wanted it but it actually didn't turn out too bad. The install went pretty good, considering this was the first time ever attempting to install one. here's some pics from the install.

The leak test

The only thing we had a little trouble with was the rear window... VIS never sent anything to keep the window in...so i just ran to Napa and got some window tape shit that worked awesome! Also, there were no rear brackets to use so we just made some custom brackets for the very back of the top.

Looks good man. The silver strip behind the window looks a little weird tho. Have you considered removing the windshield tape?

They didn't bring the black all the way up to the side windows which at first I didn't like but it's grown on me. Still undecisive about it.

Thank you. All together after about an hour lunch break and a trip to the auto parts store it was a total of 6 hours.

Wow, I want one now. BBPenterprise is going to start another VIS hardtop groupbuy on their new account probably next week. I'll hopefully have enough to get one!
