Default Weatherstripping OEM Hard Top

So I had my hardtop repaired and repainted and im ready to put it on the s2k. But I noticed that its missing the OEM Front Weatherstripping that applies to the front of the hardtop that contacts the windshield frame.

I looked up how much those weatherstripping costs OEM from Honda and its approx $30 a strip which is a lot.

I figure I can use something here at work that might work just as well if not better. Here are the options I have, some obviously wont work, but which ones would create a better seal at the front and where would be the best place to put them on the hardtop?

Im thinking A, B, C

tbh there is no thick seal in the front edge of the OEM HT more like a thin clear seal, so answering your question recheck that "missing seal" is correct or not.
hope this helps.

C would work best. The seal has to be able to collapse a lot.

yeah in real life they are clear type tapes that are difficult to remove, have a close look at your HT front edge.

I still have to test drive it and see if it sealed it better.
