I'm running K&N + AUT cooling plate as well. Sounds nice and screams in vtec. Sorry no pic, but looks just like above.

For those of you with the K&N and AUT cooling plate. Did you remove the stock air guide before installing the AUT? I know its been debated before but I was just wondering what you opted to do and your results (if any). I didn't remove mine but have been considering it.

To keep the air in the box and make it like a cold box type of system. No good?

K&N FIPK FTW FTW!!, I had a AEM V2 CAI but I got tired of trying to avoid water puddles

Yup removed my stock cooling plate piece. No point keeping it in.
Everyone loves to debate this and that on this site it seems.
I guarantee you there is not a single person that has ran hotter by removing the oem piece.
Leaving it in does not allow the air to be directed right at the air filter like the aut is designed to do so just bling without removing the oem piece.
When on the dyno with a fan I could feel the air blowing up and out of the aut piece right at the filter.
