It seems to a general forum thing - people would rather ridicule others than assist...

I am pretty sure everyone on here at some stage in their lives knew nothing about cars - and their inner workings... and probably through others (and of course by fiddling), they learnt what they know now.

I know I only know the basics, but I know a helluva lot more than last year.

Its fine man, honestly learn about general maintenance of the S2000 b4 you start throwing power adders at it, and read through the other posts people make. If you have a specific question about mechanics, try googling it, or searching here on s2ki and if you have any s2000 related problems or questions just do a search here.

The stickies here are a great place to start. Will save you a lot of money, heartaches, and headaches.

Just understand stuff for this car isn't cheap, and as soon as you decide to get serious with the car, a lot of N/A stuff has to go bye-bye for FI stuff. Make your purchases wisely with a good end result in mind.

 

Same here! This is an excellent and very informative forum with 99% good guys. You still get some dumb remarks to your questions if they are relatively simple, but like you said, you have to start somewhere.
