Default what gains with head work?

what kinda of gains can be seen with a good port and polish w/ a 3 angle valve job. just curious. i can get a very nice job done for a good price but didn't know what gains could be seen from the work.

I've seen heads increase flow on the exhaust up to 17%. If your friend has no experience with the S2000 head he can actually decrease the flow.
