what you dont wanna do is if you plan on going FI, dont buy NA parts that you cant also use in combination with FI.

Such as headers if you are going turbo, or an intake if you are going FI

As I get older I like not worrying about attracting attention, and rather go faster and be more comfortable.

I'd suggest a supercharger for reliability and suspension mods with basic bolt ons. All the beauty mods just attract bad attention, and someone messing with your car will only piss you off more. Oh if your using your car as a daily driver I would highly suggest the racelogic traction control unit for both peace of mind and to get you out of those hairy situations with rain/snow.

mjscharge why would you say that speed would always be there in the future and not think the same about looks? If anything I would imagine that it would be better to wait quite few years collect the body parts that I wanted and paint the whole car at once when its need paint, not first when the paint is fine....
The main reason being this; parts are just going to get more expensive for our cars, so get them now while they are readily available. Most aftermarket parts come paint matched so why would I bother waiting to paint the whole car, and it cost way to much money to paint your car if you go to a good body shop (fortunately for me I got hit last month and my entire front it being replaced and painted!!)

SC, Turbo kits are being sold dirt cheap used these days and are only going to get cheaper. Sellers are having a hard time even giving away these things.

Why would you want a traction control unit.. WASTE OF MONEY!!

You have a solid point in some of the body work but, I still vote performance They still sell body kits and all that crap for civics before 92's so i doubt it will ever be extinct. They even sell body kits for a 1973 bmw 2002 I used to own, now while they are harder to come by, I'm sure you will be able to find bodywork for the next 20-30 years at least...

I cannot agree on the traction control though, in my old bmw I had TC standard on the car and it was worth its weight in gold. The s2k is not as "safe" in rain and snow from some of the stories I've heard on here. Not to mention the racelogic unit allows wheelspin with a controller so it's not like you're losing anything, just gaining security and may just save your car or even life one day.

Well worth it even if it just helps you avoid a single accident, not to mention better traction on dead stops!

Oh best mod ever: Heated seats, get that stuff and get it quick.... You'll love it on chilly nights with the top down, and for back relief when you start to cramp up

I think you should spend countless hours driving and looking at your car and other cars in the gallery and then come up with an idea of your own where your car could use improvements. If you ask such a vague question all you will get is every members wishlist and it will be split between go fast parts and look good parts. That money wont go anywhere if you dont spend it, so you have time to figure out what you think you need. Just remember this isnt our cars, this is your car and your money.

I RECOMMEND A LITTLE OF BOTH. SHOW AND GO.

PERSONALLY I ALWAYS COME UP ON GREAT DEALS, I GOT MY MEGAN HEADER AND BERK TESTPIPE FOR $40 INSTALLED. I WAS ABLE TO GET OEM SHOCKS AND H&R LOWERING SPRINGS FOR $60. MY FRONT LIP WAS $50 SHIPPED. CUSTOM DUAL EXHAUST $FREE. YOU GIVE ME $7500 AND I'LL BUILD MY CAR ON A BUDGET.

PATIENCE PAYS OFF.
