I also did for two years. Its not dangerous if you run the stock seat belt with the stock seat. Most importantlly pad the roll bar before it kills you. At Daytona I had to run arm straps too.

Understand that but there is hardly any support in the OEM seat - lack of bolsters and slip and slide fake leather. Anyways we're getting off track here, (yes intentional) any news on the cage?

One just popped up locally - any issues with shortening a cage?

Not to knock. But judging by the photos the welds look very iffy. Hard to say though without better pics.

Last thing you want to do is make it more dangerous than safe.
