Default What would it take to get this S2000 running?

This '04 will be at a dealer auction in a couple of days. Can someone give me a quick tally of what's missing under the hood and a ballpark guesstimate of what it will cost to get it running again? I'm thinking it'll make a good track car.

I know the pics suck but that's the best they have.

TIA

it would take alot to fix, u could go all aftermarket that would save some money from oem. i was going to do the same thing one time but what i was going to do is buy one like ur looking at and then buy one that was hit in the rear that way u can put seats, air bags and whatever else on.

TB is missing, all intake tract. IM not sure about the ECU and keys etc..

If the motor is still running, its not that bad, at least under the hood!

Can you personally inspect it before the auction?

if you can, check the dipstick and look at the oil... see if its still in there, and if its got any metal in it etc...

yah just the tb is missing. and you;re lucky thats not a DBW car.

check for the keys, key FOB, ecu and cut wiring. youd need an intake and a boatload of body stuff as you can tell....

If you could get it for cheap then you might be able to fix it up and sell it for a good profit.. Just buy the parts needed from the part out threads in the forums..

Thanks everyone. I should've been more specific. When I said "running" I was thinking more like "start the engine", not make it complete, street legal, or all OEM. It's going to be a track car so I'm not worried about the missing body and interior parts. I'll rig APC fog lights to it for headlights if I have to as long as I can drive it to the track
