And from what I saw the G-force tires are all season tires. I was talking about getting some R-comp tires like said above.

If i had to do two mods to a stock s2000 I would go for a seat, some super sticky tires and track it!
Don't need R comps. Just get a good Extreme Summer like Hankook RS3, Dunlop Z2, Bridgestone Rival.

I was really thinking about the dc5 r seats. But I was hoping for a little more power out of the na set up. Spoon throttle body?
Thanks for all the advice so far!
Only way you make more "power" is tuning for any mods. Best bet is to get the handling set up to be able to best utilize the power the car puts out now.

The "power" is because the car lacks TQ in the midrange and not really HP. With the DBW cars you can flashpro them to resolve that, otherwise you are into a piggyback or standalone solution ($$$$).

Best bet is to spend the money on tires and track time to improve your driving and car handling.

DOT4 brake fluid flush, SS lines, brake pads pads (do your research), star spec tires, high flow cat/test pipe, UK exhaust mod, track day.

- Clear the headlights (or upgrade to AP2 headlights)
- CR sidemarkers
- Peel the windshield tape off (especially if you rock the hardtop most of the time)
- Ap2 front bumper
- Ap2 front lip spoiler

Your car looks clean, but the AP1 front end is dated IMO

If you shop the classifieds, you can easily find a good suspension (used) under $1k. I paid $800 or $900 for a used set of Bilstein PSS9s several years back. Great coilovers, excellent bang for the buck.

^^^ what he said
And some other good suspensions for the $$$
Kwv3's( I got mine for 1300)
Koni g/c usually about 600
Oem cr 700ish. All of these are used values

To the guy that said cams and tb, you are wasting your time- if you want the car to be faster then you go with gears, lower vtec, and a testpipe: all other Na mods are not worth the $$$ and even these are stretching it

I said for under 1000, you will notice that I recommended waiting and getting AEM v2 and tuning over both of them as he already has an intake, exhaust and testpipe. I just said it was more expensive than what he was looking to spend.

Thanks for all the input. While I agree to a degree that the ap1 might have a dated front end, I wouldn't change it for the single reason that that front end is The ap1. It sounds weird, but I feel as if the s deserves to stay in its skin. Honda did such a good job with it in 01 that I want to keep it that way.

I might do a used suspension set up. That seems like the best idea so far. I need to get it out on the track though. I have yet to get it out there and test the limits on it.

Keep it coming!
