What is so special about these moddiction and other aftermarket brand shift knobs? I hear from a lot of people that they really like theirs. And they're f@#king expensive!

i love my moddiction anvil 2. its heavier than a stock knob and makes shifting that much more enjoyable. also its countersunk and sits much lower than a stock knob...not sure if that plays into the improved shifter feel or not, but it definitely makes it look better

Imho... I feel like the s2000 already has a nice throw.. when you add a countersunk knob it just makes it that much better. I bought the Anvil 2 and that was the best $60 I've ever spent.

I have a rick's voodoo and am very happy with it for four reasons.
1) It is countersunk so the shifts are shorter.
2) The textured black looks better than stock (my opinion).
3) I prefer rounded shift knobs over the elongated oval style of stock.
4) It just has an overall better feel.
I originally had the oem titanium knob. I liked it until I tried the voodoo. Once I tried it I was sold, bought one and sold the stock one. I have tried the moddiction ones as well and like them too. They are a little heavier than the voodoo, which is nice. When moddiction offered the gunmetal 6 speed engraved round anvil- it was very hard to pass up. They may be pricey to some, but to others, the price is fair for what it does. I think we can all agree it would be nicer if they were cheaper, but businesses have to pull a profit so it is what it is.
For another opinion- I put my voodoo in the gf's car because I didn't like her stock leather wrapped one, and now she doesn't want to give it back. She doesn't have a lot of mod money but is still willing to spend the 110 for the moddiction titanium ( when they are back in stock).
