Default Wheels or Exhaust first.

Im running stock wheels and exhaust.

Im looking to spend up to 1k on exhaust so greddy se dual is out of the question.
and about the same if not more for wheels.

Also im leaning towards either dual hks or 73mm litespec titanium. both with test pipe (no emissions in hawaii) Single for performance. I dont want an exhaust extremely loud because its my DD.

Wheels+Tires. Im not entirely sure on the brand. probably used ones for about 1.5k + tires.

Vote away!

I know this isn't on your list, but are you considering more cosmetic/sound or performance? If performance, than I guess exhaust, but that wont do much in my opinion. If cosmetic is, I would actually lower it first.

naw i dont want to lower it. if i do i gotta get recon which is stupid in hawaii. they check your whole car for modifications. and u better pass. also the roads here are so messed up if i lower it ill be scratching everywhere. and im told it lowers handling as well.

Get good set of wheels and good tyres, way more important than exhaust if your current tyres are worn (OEM is good as is for now anyway). Also way more bling factor for your money than something you can barely see under the car

If you're not going to lower it stick with stock wheels. Stock height with after market wheels looks terrible imo. Makes the monster truck ride height look even worse.

Keep the stock wheels if you are not going to lower the car, maybe try to buy AP2V2 oem wheels. Buy new tires (Dunlop Z2, Hankook RS3.)

Stay away from single exhausts if you don't want it to be loud.

That is not necessarily true. The stock suspension set-up is very well put together though. So unless you buy top of the line stuff, you WILL be lowering the handling capabilities. If you buy something like Ohlins DFV, or KWV3's, and KNOW what you're doing.. improvements to handling can definitely be made.

Depends on the condition of your "old" parts, I replaced my exhaust first, because someone had stolen my AP2 tips. Then a few months later I replaced my rims and tires because my tires were wearing out.

If you're staying stock height get some AP2 rims (whichever version you like most), aftermarket ones look weird at stock height but AP2's provide a nice upgrade. You could probably afford an exhaust as well if you saved up a little more.

if you don't want loud, then don't get a single exhaust. the dual HKS willl be just what you want. it is nice and quiet (relative to singles).
