id personally wait till you found a greddy se dual used on the forums, in my opinion its the best sounding and looking exhaust. Comptech is a close second for me, but its hard to come by. I keep itching for a single greddy se, but i just know itll be too loud for a daily.

The way your car interfaces with the ground is probably the most important mod you make.

I'd suggest going wheels/tires for that very reason.

Wheels and tires bruddah. As stated numerous times, if you're leaving it stock height, you'd probably be better off with ap2 rims (doesn't matter which version, looks are subjective). I absolutely HATE seeing aftermarket rims on a car without it being lowered first; almost every time I go to my local "Vatozone" I tend to see these types of cars in the parking lot.

If you want a little "performance", just buy a k&n filter and put it in the stock airbox; gut the airbox while you're at it. Very cheap mod, plus you'll get a little more bark from the motor.

Greddy SE dual isn't exactly quiet, but it does sound good.

And clean (burnt) tips look like this:

Tires are by far one of the most vital parts you will ever install on the car.. Don't skimp out on them either

$1.5k isn't much if you are buying new, but if you play it like I did and buy used rims for under $600-700 then you will have more than enough for tires.

Pick your tires based on your driving style too. Commuting, tracking and weekend driving are all many different forms so pick your poison wisely or you'll regret it by either not having enough grip, or too much in general.

or should I just keep my stock rims. Paint them, buy tires then buy an exhaust?

Nope, 16's are too small for our cars. 17's will tame the rear end a bit more and brings out the appearance along with it.. just my 02.
