Are most people running replicas when I see OEM tops? Cause if so they look good to me, what's the difference?

Vast majority, probably 95% are authentic OEM. Mugens on the other hand...

OEM replicas came out just recently, so you're seeing almost all OEMs.

OEM here. You need to look and have patience. It took me a few years to find mine close by, mint condition, and in GPW so no painting.

the replicas are pretty close to oem pricing.. its already 2000$ with paint+window, and with shipping its close to 2300. ive seen some oem hardtops go for 3000~ish.
True, but it may take ages to find a OEM one for that price and you may still have to deal with re-painting it.

The replica comes painted in your color choice, with seals and hardware for just over $2300 shipped.

Don't get me wrong, I'd rather have OEM but the replica seems a lot easier to attain
You have to remember that 2300 doesn't include OEM hardware (which is miles better) and glass rear window with defroster and interior trim. You get what you pay for. If I had to do it over, I'd get OEM no question.
