Any thoughts on why this doesn’t sit flush?
I have a 2007 s2k. My third brake light cracked and I picked up a replacement. I’m not sure what year the replacement brake light came from. After installing it, I get a weird gap at the ends.





Any thoughts? Did I get an AP1 light? I understand there might be some very tiny difference in dimensions? The guy I bought this light from says all years fit. Am I missing something on install?

I tried flipping it. The way the bolts line up makes it impossible to install it upside down.

The third brake light is different on the early AP1 cars, the 2000 and 2001 have the part number listed as 34270-S2A-003 and part number 34270-S2A-J01 is from a 2002 to 2009. This might be your issue, good luck man.
