Is a 2007 (DBW) throttle body compatible with a 2002? I'm guessing it's not but figured I'd ask the question.

 

It would not be compatible unless you swap out a BUNCH of parts (ECU, throttle pedal, entire fuel system, intake manifold, etc.).

 

Thanks. Are the airboxes the same between 07 and 02?

 

I believe the air box is the same, but the intake pipe is probably different, since the '00-'05 has the air pump tube, and the '06+ does not. The '06+ also has the IAT sensor in the intake pipe, but the '00-'05 does not.

 

i had both a 04 and 06 oem box side by side and didnt notice any difference as i was gutting them, however the piping is indeed diff for 06 with the add sensor
