Will these mods fix the AP1 Oversteer ?
I was wondering what the effect of installing following modifications on my AP1 (model year 2000) would be on the driveability, suspension and oversteer tendency vs. stock :
1. Tein S Tech Springs, OEM Shocks
2. Cusco Strut Tower Bar

3. Cusco Rear Tie Bar

4. 17" SSR GT1 Wheels with wider tires Bridgestone 245/225 rear/front.

No. Strut bars will not do anything to help in handling. Get a Saner front sway bar and that should help out a lot.
No I don't have one but that is the biggest one for the money.
I definitely notice lots of oversteer in my car. Tail always feels like it is close to stepping out when going hard around turns and all.

You might not actually oversteer but I know with my car while I don't have the tail actually spin out, I can feel the rear wanting to slide out a little bit or feel a little bit unstable where a front sway bar will definitely help make it feel more balanced.

Can get them off ebay I know and for a good price.
They are adjustable and solid. I believe many other are hollow. These seem to be the best for the money but just going from my research I have done as I have not owned one yet.

I've got the Saner installed on my car along with coilovers. Mainly for auto x and spirited driving and I love the combination. Makes the rear very controllable. I would also suggest possibly a driving lesson/ class etc. To gain a better understanding/ handling of your car before making suspension changes.
