Default WINDSHEILD TAPE

Hey guys,

When I got my s2k, the windshield was off. I personally like it black because it matches the top (looks better IMO). So the questions is, is it possible to put it back on? have any of you guys done it? how difficult?

any responses will help a lot! Thanks!

JUST TAKE THE CAR TO A SHOP THAT CAN VINYL WRAP AND HAVE THEM VINYL THE WINDSHIELD SECTION.

s2k is meant to be driven top down, and it looks so much hotter with tape off and top down.

but if you must, then yeah, any vinyl shop can do it.

Im kind of scared to take my tape off... I have read that the paint/finish is not always very good underneath.

i took mine off after 3 years of owning the car. paint was fine on mine. ehh, the biggest pita is that it takes no joke over 2 hours to do it. apply heat, slowly pull, apply heat, slowly pull. repeat millions of times.

agreed with everyone else, i've no idea what a shop would charge but you can buy the OEM vinyl pieces for ~$60 total (right, center, and left) if you're big into the DIY thing...

FYI -> Honda deleted the tape from non-CR '08 and '09 models
