True, my paint looks like its been scratch, not all that bad but not perfection (part of the reason why I want to put the tape back on)

polish the paint. most if not all the scratches will go away, unless they are deep scratches

thats what happened with mine. 2-3 other ppl did it, i liked the look esp with my hardtop. i took the tape off and it is discolored and a lot of "fadded" spots. its a crap shoot

My paint peeled off a little on the drivers side because I got impatient. Take your time and use a heat gun. I also waited to do it in the middle of July when it hit 105 one day.
