I was referring to the nipple under the radiator cap where you hook the overflow hose to.

I don't want to come off as a giant dick but that is some of the worst advice I have ever heard. The main reason the aftermarket radiators make such a difference on these cars is because of the added fluid capactiy. The increase in fluid capacity allows the cooling system to dissipate more heat because there is more fluid to absorb it, plus the heating characteristics of aluminum allow more heat to be removed from the fluid. They hold about 1/2 to 3/4 of a gallon more than stock (about 5-6lbs of fluid) and the larger radiator is about the same weight as stock if not a lb or two lighter. So in the end you add 5 lbs to the vehicle. The increase in weight is worth the performance.

I do agree with you on the fact that the oem radiator does do its job quite efficiently. if you are stock or n/a with bolt-ons the oem one will do everything you need it to. But if it comes to track time or f/i, than the stock radiator is unable to keep up with the heat.

s4play faux diffuser. Looks ok but it's the worst value-for-money mod I have. Embarrassed to say what I paid for this flimsy piece of plastic.
This made me LOL...
me too

Koni Yellow/Ground Controls = shitty ride
Any N/A mod such as intake/header/exhaust - give minimal gains, probably not worth the money/power output your getting unless you just want it for the sound.

I had an APR carbon fiber oem style front lip that didn't fit well and cracked after a couple of months. it's no longer on the car. My NRG hood dampers actually sheared at the ball joints, so that was a waste of 120 bucks. I have the password:JDM kevlar intake and I actually like it, but I've never had the rattle or raspy tone at WOT, and the quality seems just fine. Maybe a fluke, but it works for me.

Hum. I regret my tornado, my carbon fiber intake snorkel, my k&n drop in filter, my 63 mm test pipe, hondata reflash (should have waited for the flashpro), my ap2 v3 wheels, led shift knob, act clutch package( should have gotten the oem disc instead of the act, 0 clutch buzz), and a a/c delete belt (I have just use it once).
you should tell us WHY you thought these were bad modifications. otherwise your post is totally worthless.
good point, my friend. sorry

tornado: should i go into detail?

carbon fiber intake snorkel: its the one that "does not require" hood modification. even though it said it didnt need it, the hood doesnt close properly, and the reason why it "didnt" needed to be modified was because the snorkel is pinched. if you were in a drag race or just launching at autocross when you rev up, your car is starving for air b/c it has to suck up air through the pinch.

K&N drop-in filter: just get a real intake. and its a hassle to clean it and not clogging it. K&N filter plus charging kit= 2 1/2 oem filters. and there is little to no hp increase. get a real intake and make 5 whp (sarcasm)

63 mm test pipe. smells like craps, black bumper, raspy and my exhaust is 70 mm. i got it used, i shouldnt have bought it.

hondata reflash: kinda already explained, just get flash pro. i think i was hitting 15-16 afr. terrible.

ap2 v3 rims: could have gotten rotas or rpf1s for the money i spent. i have a MY06 so ap2 v2 wheels stock

led shift knob: really? i have to explain?

act clutch package HDSS: i already explained. clutch buzz is crazy. i cant wait for this thing to DIE!!!!!!!!!! the pressure plate is fine. every one that drives it says its heavy so it might be for the average guy. i squat 535 lbs so its fine with me. but my ears hate the sound of clutch buzz!!!!!!! should have just go the pressure plate and the oem clutch disk. no clutch buzz from what i have read on the forums.

a/c delete belt: anyone want it? yea i spent 48 dollars on 1 whp (maybe) i didnt delete the a/c just the belt that goes to it. wat a waste. dont buy this belt unless you actually removed the whole a/c system.

Whats your mod that you most regret buying? Give heads up to other s2k owners!!!

this is interesting, i thought the drop was perfect all around and the ride on my car has been perfect.

I have had a mishimoto radiator in my car for over 2 years now and I love mine. The temperature stays wayy cooler for longer takes 15-20 minutes longer to get to operating temperature. I have never had a leak and I haven't ever smelled coolant. One of the best mods I have done!

On another note:

My worst mod would have to be my GReddy turbo kit. I have a love/Hate relationship with it. I am currently happy with the power it is making (320whp), but I know I will soon want more. It is not very easy to upgrade, and for the money....I should have saved a little more and gotten the FullRace. It is a very "pretty" kit, (good for car shows) but the full race has looks and performs.
